The #23 Syracuse women's basketball team will play its second of four games in eight days Tuesday. The Orange (6-1, 3-1 ACC) host North Carolina (7-4, 2-4 ACC) at Noon on ACC Network with Pam Ward and LaChina Robinson on the call.Â
The Tar Heels handed Syracuse its only loss of the season, 92-68, on Dec. 17, 2020. Emily Engstler led the team with 18 points and 10 rebounds for her 10th career double double while freshman Kamilla Cardoso added 11 points and 13 rebounds for the first double double of her career. The Orange shot a cold 29.3 percent from the field in the loss while UNC had two 20-point scorers in Janelle Bailey (25 points) and Deja Kelly (20) and shot 46.9 percent as a squad.Â
Since the loss to Carolina the Orange have won back-to-back games with a 28-day break in between due to the team's pause for COVID protocol. In their last time out, Syracuse scored an ACC-season high 99 points in a 35-point win over Miami at the Carrier Dome on Sunday afternoon. Priscilla Williams was a perfect 9-for-9 from the field with 26 points and was named ACC Freshman of the Week on Monday.Â
Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. ET on the ACC Network. Additionally, fans can stream the game live through the ESPN App.Â
