Vestri Earns ACC Performer of the Week honors

Syracuse senior Amanda Vestri posted the second-fastest time nationally in the 5,000-meters in her indoor debut and was rewarded by earning ACC Performer of the Week.
Vestri crossed the line in 16:09.96, in what was her track debut at Syracuse, to earn the victory in the 5k at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
To date, Vestri's time is one-of-three in the nation faster than 16:30, and her time is second to Minnesota's Bethany Hasz (15:50.74) this year.
