The Syracuse women's basketball team (7-3, 4-3 ACC) returns to action Thursday night when the Orange host Pittsburgh (4-4, 3-4 ACC) at the Carrier Dome. The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra where fans can watch through the ESPN App.Â
The Orange look to snap a two-game skid after back-to-back road losses at No. 1 Louisville and in overtime to Clemson on Sunday. Syracuse is led by Kiara Lewis and Kamilla Cardoso who both average 14.4 points per game this season. Cardoso is the reigning ACC Freshman of the Week and is the ACC leader in blocks per game (2.70) and field goal percentage (.596). Point guard Tiana Mangakahia has had four-straight games with 10+ assists while Emily Engstler is adding 11.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game off the bench.Â
Syracuse leads the all-time series 45-19 against Pitt, who is looking for its first road win at Syracuse in the Lance White era. The Panthers are led by Jayla Everett (16.5 ppg) while Dayshanette Harris adds 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Pitt defeated Syracuse's most recent opponent Clemson, 79-69, on Tuesday.Â

All decisions will be science-based and informed by public health and guidance as provided by county, state and public health officials.
Â
If fans are permitted to attend games – in some capacity – Syracuse Athletics will announce plans for spectators to secure admission to the events. Fans will be required to sit in their socially-distanced seat locations and wear a face covering.
