As the Syracuse Orange prepare to host Notre Dame in the Carrier Dome on Sunday, Jan. 31 (11 am., ACCN), we continue our Q&A series to help you get to know your Orange! In this edition we talk with freshman Priscilla Williams.
Why did you choose Syracuse University?
I chose Syracuse University because I knew that Coach Q would be the best fit for me and him and his staff will help me best improve myself as an individual on and off the court.
What has been the toughest adjustment to college?
The toughest adjustment in college basketball has definitely been the pace off the game and off the court it has been time management while being an athlete.

What is it like playing basketball through the COVID-19 pandemic?
It is very different as the rules are different because of COVID protocols but we still get to play the game which I game grateful for.
How many siblings do you have and what was it like growing up with such a big family?
I have six siblings and it is so much fun. There's always something going on and it's never a dull moment.
Who is the best dancer on the team?
Either Noo Noo [Taleah Washington] or me.
What is the biggest transition from the high school game to college?
The speed and the athleticism is the biggest difference for me.
What is it like competing in the ACC?
It is amazing. I believe it is one of the best conferences to play in.
Do you have any pregame superstitions?
Not really, I just have to make sure my hair is fixed and my edges laid.

Love and Basketball
What is your favorite pregame meal?
Honestly, I don't have one.
