Syracuse hosts Boston College on Saturday in a matchup of Northeast squads. Here are five things to know about this weekend's game.
1. It's Orange Central Weekend!
Syracuse alums are invited back for Orange Central weekend!
Homecoming weekend provides an opportunity for Orange alumni to catch up with classmates and friends at a multitude of events. It's also traditionally been a friendly event for Syracuse football. The Orange are 41-29 in homecoming games dating back to 1949. 'Cuse is 2-2 on homecoming under Babers, as last year there was no Orange Central game due to not having fans able to attend.
2. Updated Health Protocols
As the start of the men's and women's basketball seasons quickly approach, and with two more home football games scheduled, Syracuse Athletics today announced updated game day public health protocols. While the vast majority of the current guidelines remains in effect, there is one change that will have an impact on families with children under the age of 12.
Â
Effective immediately:
Â
   · Individuals under the age of 12 no longer need to provide proof of a negative test upon entry.
   · Individuals ages 12 and older are required to demonstrate proof of vaccination or a negative test upon entry.
   · Masking continues to be required for all patrons ages 5 and up (regardless of vaccination status), except while actively eating or drinking.
Â
As a reminder, Syracuse Athletics strongly encourages fans attending home football games to visit one of five pre-screening locations before entry to the Stadium.

3. See Tuck Run
Fans in the Dome on Saturday will have an opportunity to watch the nation's leading rusher go to work. Sean Tucker is the only back in FBS football to have over 1,000-yards rushing this season.
Tucker is also on pace to shatter the program's single-season rushing mark. With four regular season contests left, Tucker is just 111 yards out of the top-5, currently sitting in 11th with 1,060 yards. The program record is still held by Joe Morris (1,372). Tucker is on pace to break into the top-five this week, as he enters Saturday's game having run for a program-record six-straight 100-yard games.
4. Shrader, too
Sean Tucker isn't the only player dominating on the ground. Despite not getting the starting nod until Week 4, Shrader is already second nationally among quarterbacks in rushing yards with 592.
He's rapidly closing in on a number of quarterback rushing records at Syracuse. He's 221 yards away from Bill Hurley's single-season quarterback rushing record of 813 yards. He also needs just three more rushing touchdowns to tie Eric Dungey for the program record of most rushing TDs by a QB at 15. Dungey set his in the 13-game, 10-win season in 2018.
Dungey is expected to be in the Loud House on Saturday for Orange Central.
5. Time's Running Out
This is the panultimate home game for the Orange and the last time to catch the team in person for a month, as Syracuse hosts Pitt on the final weekend of the season. The Orange head into a bye and then have back-to-back road games before they return to the Loud House again.
