FROM COACH BOEHEIM
"Drexel is a really well-coached team. They move the ball well," said head coach Jim Boeheim. "I thought we had a very good second half of basketball. Our defense was very strong, and they created a lot of turnovers."
A HEAD TURNING HALF
A back-and-forth first half led to six lead changes throughout the period. After Drexel opened the contest with a 3-pointer, Buddy Boeheim started a 12-3 run for the Orange offense with eight points, including a pair of three pointers. Trailing 12-6, the Dragons answered by scoring nine of the next 12 points to pull within one. The first 20-minutes remained a see-saw battle. Camren Wynter's buzzer-beating jumper gave Drexel a 33-32 lead entering halftime.
