
Orange Wrap Up Battle 4 Atlantis with Loss

Syracuse (2-4) wrapped up the Bad Boy Mowers Women's Battle 4 Atlantis with a 88-79 loss to Buffalo (2-2) on Monday night. Syracuse was led by Chrislyn Carr who scored 23 points while the Orange had four players score in double figures. The Orange return home and will play Colgate on Sunday, Nov. 28 in the Dome.Â
Christianna Carr added 19 points and four rebounds shooting 6-for-12 from the field and Teisha Hyman had 14 points. Eboni Walker added 12 points in 21 minutes off the bench.Â
The Orange shot a combined 45.6 percent from the field and were 50 percent from the three-point line (10-for-20). Naje Murray had nine rebounds, eight defensive, and five points while dishing two assists and a pair of steals in the loss.Â
Buffalo was led by Dyaisha Fair had a game-high 34 points shooting 11-for-15 from the field and making seven threes, all in the first half. Summer Hemphill added 28 points and 10 rebounds for a double double in the Bulls win.Â
