
Orange Wrap Up Non-Conference Play Wednesday

Syracuse (8-4) concludes non-conference play on Wednesday when the Orange host Siena (0-9) at 2 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. Fans unable to attend can stream the game live on ACCNX.Â
The Orange have all five starters averaging double figures in scoring and ride a six-game win streak into Wednesday's regional matchup. During the streak, 'Cuse is outscoring its opponents by over 30 points per game and has improved to 8-1 at home. Chrislyn Carr paces the team with 15.6 points per game while Teisha Hyman is the team's leader in rebounds (6.2 rpg), assists (5.3 apg) and steals (2.7 spg). Collectively , the Orange average 80.2 points per game and are shooting an impressive 45.6 percent from the field and lead the ACC in free throw percentage (.782).Â
Siena is in the hunt for its first win of the season and first win since head coach Jim Jabir returned to Loudonville to lead the Saints program. Siena lost a close 59-43 contest to Rider at home on Monday night to begin MAAC play. The Saints average 48.8 points per game while giving up 58.4 points per game. Rayshel Brown leads the team in scoring with 13.1 points per game and Amari Anthony is leading the team with 5.2 rebounds per game while Brown contributes 5.1 boards per game.Â
Wednesday is the final non-conference game of the season for the Orange who return to ACC action on Dec. 29 at North Carolina. Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. on ACC Network.Â
