Syracuse Welcomes Central Connecticut to the Dome Sunday

Hot off its first win over a nationally-ranked opponent this season, the Syracuse women's basketball team (4-4) welcomes Central Connecticut State (1-4) to the Carrier Dome Sunday, Dec. 5. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. on ACCNX, which fans can stream through the ESPN app.Â
Teisha Hyman dropped 30 points and added six assists in Syracuse's 97-91 win over No. 18 Ohio State on Wednesday night. Chrislyn Carr had her third-straight 20-point game while Naje Murray added a season-high 21 points. The Orange are 4-1 at home and have won back-to-back games for the first time season.Â
Central Connecticut's lone win was a 67-60 win over Brown on Nov. 18. The Blue Devils are in the middle of a three-game road stretch and will play back-to-back Power 5 opponents to finish the road swing when they play at Rutgers on Dec. 14. CCSU averages 58.6 points per game and is led by Ashley Berube with 18.2 ppg.Â
Sunday's game is the first of six-straight home games for the Orange. Following the meeting with CCSU on Sunday, 'Cuse is back in action Wednesday, Dec. 8 versus central New York rival Cornell at 7 p.m. Individual game tickets are on sale at cuse.com/tickets.Â
