'Cuse Field Hockey Welcomes Olivia Bell

SYRACUSE, NY— The Syracuse hockey family is growing with the addition of Olivia Bell for the 2021 fall season.
"Olivia brings great speed and tenacity to our attacking unit," head coach Ange Bradley said. "She comes from a great club team and we are excited to have her join our Syracuse family."
During her senior year, Bell had 10 goals, five assists, and 24 shots with 33 goals and 19 assists over her high school career at Nernix Hall (Mo.). She was team captain her junior and senior season while twice being named Most Valuable Offensive Player and MVP for the Markers.
Bell intends to pursue a degree in political science. She was drawn to Syracuse because of its athletic and academic reputation. Winning a national championship is in her sights and she plans to be an important contributor to the team's success.
Bell played club hockey for Gateway Field Hockey in Maryland Heights, Mo.
"I would want future players to remember me as one of the hardest working players to come through the program, the kind of player that does all the little things to help the team win," said Bell.
