THE GAME
- Syracuse hosts Vermont for the first time ever in a regular-season meeting as 'Cuse looks to move to 2-1 on the season.
- The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra with former Syracuse star Ryan Powell (analyst) and SU student Cooper Boardman (PxP) on the call. Brian Higgins and Kyle Fetterly will broadcast the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

FANS AT LAST
- For the first time in 370 days, a Syracuse University will hold an athletics event with spectators on its campus. The last event was Syracuse women's basketball hosting Boston College on March 1, 2020.
- A maximum of 900 students will be able to attend Saturday's game vs. Vermont.All students have been in the building in order to complete University mandated COVID-19 testing this semester, but this is the first opportunity to see a sporting event.

THE VERMONT SERIES
- Syracuse and Vermont will face each other for the first time on Saturday.
- The two programs are familiar with one another as they've played annually in a closed preseason scrimmage in each of the prior-three seasons (there were no scrimmages this season).
- This is the first time Syracuse has added a new opponent to its regular season slate since 2013, when the team played Canisius. The Orange have two first-time opponents in Vermont and Stony Brook this season and seldomly played Hofstra also on the slate.
- Syracuse and Vermont do have ties though, as offensive coordinator Pat March spent three seasons with the Catamounts from 2014-16. While there they reached the America East title game for the first time in program history. UVM sophomore midfielder JJ Levandowski also started his career at Syracuse in the fall of 2019, before transferring to Vermont to pursue a degree in parks, recreation and tourism, which Syracuse University does not offer.

AGAINST THE AMERICA EAST
- Syracuse is 26-6 all-time against the seven current members of the America East Conference.
- The Orange will play three America East opponents in 2020, with the Orange set to face Stony Brook and Albany later this year.
- 'Cuse boasts a 8-0 mark against Binghamton, 16-2 record against UAlbany and a 2-5 record vs. UMBC.
- Syracuse has not played Stony Brook, Vermont, UMass Lowell or Hartford to date, but will face Stony Brook next week after hosting the Catamounts this week.

A WIN AGAINST VERMONT WOULD...
- Be the program's 919th victory, second all-time behind Johns Hopkins.
- Make Syracuse 1-0 vs. Vermont all-time and give John Desko a winning record against 35 of the 36 programs he has coached against in his 23-year tenure.
- Make Syracuse 27-6 all-time against the America East Conference.
- Be win number 250 for the Syracuse lacrosse program in the Dome.

RISING IN THE RANKS
- Stephen Rehfuss moved into a tie with Dylan Donahue for 14th in career assists at Syracuse with his three assists against Virginia, giving him 84 all-time.
- Three more helpers will move him into the top-10 all time at Syracuse.
- He moved past Kenny Nims (82) and Mike Leveille (83) on Saturday.
- Rehfuss is 11th in the NCAA among active players in total (84) assists and career assists per game (1.65).

DOME-INATION
- Syracuse is 249-41 (.857) in the Carrier Dome since it began playing the majority of its home games there in 1981.
- The Orange finished 5-2 in the Dome in 2019, 4-0 in 2020 and is 1-1 this season.
- 'Cuse has won 41 of its last-50 home games.
- The Orange have also earned a first-round 'Dome Game' in the NCAA Tournament in six of the last seven seasons which an NCAA Tournament was held.
