The fourth-seed Syracuse Orange will play third-seed Robert Morris in the 2021 College Hockey America Tournament Championship Game on Saturday, March 6 (6 pm, StretchTV). The game is a rematch of the 2019 CHA championship game that Syracuse won to advance to the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse (12-8-1 overall, 8-6-1 CHA) beat Lindenwood in the quarterfinals and #7 Penn State in the semifinals to advance to the championship game, while RMU (15-7-1, 11-7-1) beat RIT and Mercyhurst to get to the finals.

The Series History: 'Cuse and RMU split their games in 2020-21 with each team winning a pair of games on the opponent's home ice. Syracuse beat Robert Morris in a two-game series (3-1, 4-1) to close out the regular season, while the Colonials earned a pair of 2-1 wins at Tennity Ice Pavilion in January.

2020-21 CHA Honors for the Orange
Senior Jessica DiGirolamo is the 2020-21 College Hockey America (CHA) Defenseman of the Year and junior Abby Moloughney is the CHA Best Defensive Forward Award winner. In addition, DiGirolamo earned All-CHA First Team honors, while Moloughney and senior goaltender Allison Small are All-CHA Second Team selections. Freshman Hannah Johnson earned a spot on the CHA All-Rookie Team.

Small Protects the Net
Goalie Allison Small continued to protect the net notching 84 saves in the two-game sweep of RMU this past weekend. Small recorded a career-high 49 saves in the first game against the Colonials last Friday night, which is the third-best single game performance in the nation in 2020-21 and the fourth-best in Syracuse history.

Scoring Distribution for the Orange
     • Thirteen different Syracuse players have scored points in the 2021 CHA Tournament.
     • Syracuse's nine goals have been scored by nine different skaters.
     • Ten different skaters have tallied assists, including three by defenders Kristen Siermachesky and Jessica DiGirolamo, and two from sophomore Madison Beishuizen.
     • Abby Moloughney leads the team in scoring and is tied for the lead in assists (23 pts/14 ast). She had one goal and one against Lindenwood in the CHA quarterfinal win.
     • Jessica DiGirolamo paces the Orange offense with 10 goals. She scored one goal and had three assists against Lindenwood in the CHA quarterfinal win.
     • Anna Leschyshyn recorded six points in the LIU series, including a hat trick in the Sunday 5-0 win.
