Men's Rowing Holds Steady at #3

With the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta just over two weeks away (May 28-29), the Syracuse men's rowing varsity eight is holding steady as the No. 3 team in the country. The Orange are the highest-ranked east coast team in the latest IRCAÂ Poll behind No. 1 Washington and No. 2 California.Â
This year's regatta will be a two-day event, a change from past years, and will take place at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. There are no spectators permitted at the 2021 National Championship. A free live stream will be available for the entirety of the regatta. Â
Syracuse's varsity eight has earned head-to-head wins over No. 5 Northeastern, No. 6 Wisconsin, No. 7 Boston University, No. 9 Navy and No. 12 George Washington this season.Â
