Tyrrell is 17th in the country with 34 assists and 13th with 52 goals this season. This season has been no different, as the graduate student ranks 11th in the country in goals against average (9.31) and 25th in saves (123). The Niskayuna, N.Y., native eclipsed the 600 career save mark against Boston College earlier this season, becoming just the second goalkeeper in team history to do so. Â
For the second consecutive year, SU ranks among the top 20 scoring defenses in the nation. This season, the Orange sit at 11th in the country with opponents scoring just 9.47 goals per game after finishing as the top scoring defense in 2020 when the season concluded in March.
