SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Allie Munroe will continue her professional hockey career with the Connecticut Whale for the 2021 National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) season. The 2019 All-CHA First team selection led the team in assists (22) and points (27) during her senior season (2018-19) and in all-time blocks with 73.

Following graduation Munroe began her professional career playing for Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL), which is the top-flight of Swedish's women's hockey and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. She was selected for the 2021 Canadian National Team Camp and participated in the Canadian National Women's Development Team selection camps in August of 2016 and the program's strength and conditioning camp in May of that same year.
The NWHL draft is June 29, 2021 and the season will begin shortly after.
