SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange are back home at SU Soccer Stadium to host #2 Georgetown on Friday (Sept. 3) at 7 p.m. Admission to the SU Soccer Stadium is free. All fans attending games must adhere to Syracuse University's COVID-19 policy, which can be found here.

ORANGE UPDATE

Syracuse is 1-1 in 2021 after defeating Drexel 2-0 in the regular season home opener and then losing to #11 Penn State on the road. The Orange outshot both opponents.
In the win against the Dragons, senior midfielder Colin Biros scored his first collegiate goal and junior defender Christian Curti recorded his first Syracuse goal.
Junior Noah Singelmann recorded two assists in the victory against Drexel.

SCOUTING THE HOYAS

The second-ranked Hoyas are 2-0, with wins against UC Irvine and Fordham.
Giannis Nikopolidis was selected as the BIG EAST Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year, while Sean Zawadzki and Dante Polvara were selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
Georgetown is coming off a 10-2-2 season in 2020 after winning the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
Head Coach Brian Wiese is in his 16th season with the program. He has led the team to nine NCAA Tournament appearances in a 10-year span.

SERIES HISTORY
Friday's match will be the 19th meeting between the Orange and the Hoyas. The most recent match was in 2019.
