Syracuse Welcomes Bucknell to the JMA Dome Friday

The Syracuse women's basketball team looks to earn its fifth win of the season Friday night when the Orange host Bucknell at 7 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome. Fans can watch the primetime non-conference matchup on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) through the ESPN app.

Syracuse is coming off a 82-69 road loss at Penn State (5-0) on Monday night. The Orange are 4-0 at home this season and are led by Dyaisha Fair (17.8 ppg) who leads the team in assists (5.0) and is coming off back-to-back 20-point performances against the Nittany Lions and Long Island. Dariauna Lewis is averaging a double double (12.0 ppg, 11.3 rpg) while Teisha Hyman adds 13.6 points, 4.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game.

Bucknell is led by Cecelia Collins (11.8 ppg) and has won back-to-back games entering Friday's road game. The Bison won their first game of the season, a 65-58 overtime thriller at Cornell Saturday, and followed up with a 55-52 win at Iona at home on Tuesday.

Syracuse and Bucknell have met once before, on Nov. 18, 2018, when the Orange earned a 70-56 win over the Bison at the Dome.

After Friday's home game the Orange hit the road for back-to-back road games for the first time this season. Syracuse will travel to Purdue for the ACC/B1G Challenge Wednesday night and then will face Yale on the road Sunday, Dec. 4 at noon in New Haven, Conn.
