Syracuse (3-2) will take on Bryant (4-1) inside the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, Nov 26 at 4:00 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
Syracuse enters the pairing following back-to-back overtime tilts in the Vividseats Empire Classic in Brooklyn. The Orange defeated Richmond on Monday night, 74-71, and lost to St. John's on Tuesday evening, 76-69.

Bryant is coming off a 98-88 victory versus Detroit Mercy. Earl Timberlake hit four free throws down the stretch and Antwan Walker added five points to lock down the victory.

THE SYRACUSE-BRYANT SERIES
On Saturday afternoon, the Orange and the Bulldogs face each other for just the second time. The last time they clashed, on Nov. 27, 2020, Syracuse edged Bryant, 85-84.

LAST TIME OUT
Freshman guard Judah Mintz led the charge by matching his previous personal best with 20 points against the Red Storm. Senior center Jesse Edwards locked in 18 points, freshman forward Chris Bell contributed a career-best 12 points, and sophomore forward Benny Williams posted a double-double with 11 points and career-high 10 boards. Mounir Hima recorded a career-high seven blocked shots in the contest as well.

ORANGE LEADERS
Mintz leads the Orange in scoring average (18.0 ppg.), which slots him second among Division I freshmen heading into Friday's contests. Senior guard Joseph Girard III is currently averaging 17.8 ppg. Edwards leads the Orange in rebound average (8.4 rpg) and has recorded 15.0 points per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Sherif Gross-Bullock (18.0 ppg.) is one of five Bulldogs averaging double-digit points. Earl Timberlake is the leading glass crasher with an average of 9.4 rebounds per contest. Syracuse native and Liverpool High School product Charles Pride has contributed 17.0 points and 7.2 rebounds a game.

'CUSE FANS CAN VOTE FOR GIRARD
Senior Joseph Girard III is one of 20 players named to the 2023 Jerry West Award watch list, which is annually presented to the top shooting guard in Division I college basketball. Orange fans are encouraged to participate in Fan Voting for each of the three rounds. The list will be narrowed down to 10 in January, five in February, and the five finalists will be presented to Jerry West and the Hall of Fame's selection committee where a winner will be selected in March. BOEHEIM & PEARL TO JOIN RING OF HONOR
Jim Boeheim and Dwayne "Pearl" Washington -- two of the most prominent names in Syracuse men's basketball history -- will be formally recognized as members of the Syracuse University Athletics Ring of Honor in the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022. The ceremony will be held on the same day the Orange host Georgetown.
