Orange Travel to Louisville Thursday Night

The Syracuse women's basketball team (10-2, 1-0 ACC) travels to Louisville (10-4, 1-0 ACC) for a 7 p.m. showdown on ACCNX at the KFC Yum! Center. The Orange have won five-straight entering their first road conference game of the season while the Cardinals also ride a five-game win streak.Â
Syracuse is led by Dyaisha Fair (19.6 ppg) and Teisha Hyman (13.8 ppg) while center Dariauna Lewis adds 10.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per game, just shy of averaging a double-double. The Orange average 77.5 points per game and are shooting 43.3 percent from the field while holding opponents to 62.6 ppg and a .373 field goal percentage.
It will be a matchup of two of the best back courts in the ACC on Thursday night. Louisville is led by Hailey Van Lith (19.8 ppg) and Chrislyn Carr (11.2 ppg). Carr graduated from Syracuse in May and elected to use her final year of eligibility playing for the Cardinals. She was named ACC Player of the Week on Monday.Â
