
Regular Season Wraps at Cornell

Syracuse wrapped up the regular season on Saturday at the Marc Deneault Invitational.
The orange went 1-2 in the 1,000-meter run. Freshman Juliette Keller won the event in 3:00.69, followed by classmate Bethany Steiner just under three seconds later.
The wins continued in the 3000-meters. Emily Nugent won the event in 10:30.86, less than a second ahead of Maddie Heintz, who took second.
Sophia Jacobs-Townsley and Caroline Kirby would follow that up by being the top-two collegians in the women's mile. Jacobs-Townsley took second overall in 5:03.93, just ahead of Kirby. Bearett Taris finished eighth.
David Peters was the runner-up in the men's 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 8.28 seconds. Xayvion Perkins just missed the final, taking ninth. Perkins would go on to take sixth in the 400 in 52.01 seconds.
CJ Fox took second in the women's hurdles, crossing the line in 9.05 seconds. Kirstyn Schechter was third (9.22) and Sheridan McGadden finished ninth (9.93).
Patrick Malone was the top SU finisher in the men's mile, taking 14th in 4:34.81. He was followed closely by Matthew Dragon (4:36.23).
Mariana McManus (1:25.49) was third in the 500-meter dash.
Olivia Etienvre took seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.53 meters.
Next, 'Cuse will head to the ACC Championships, which begin on Thursday.
