THE GAME
- Syracuse hosts Cornell in just its second home game in over a month on Monday.
- The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Anish Shroff '04 (PxP) and Ryan Boyle (analyst) on the call. Brian Higgins '04 (PxP) and Kyle Fetterly '09 (analyst) will broadcast the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com, The Varsity App and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

THE CORNELL SERIES
- This will be the 106th meeting between the two programs. Syracuse retains a 66-38-1 record all-time against Cornell. While the two teams have played nearly annually, and have the fourth-longest recurring rivalry in college lacrosse, this will be the first meeting with the two teams since 2019.
- The Orange won the last matchup 13-8, but only 11 of the 36 players who saw time in that game are still on the Orange roster.
- The two teams first met on May 21, 1920. Syracuse won the game 5-3 in overtime.

AGAINST THE IVY LEAGUE
- Against the seven current members of the Ivy League lacrosse conference, Syracuse owns a 184-57-1 record all-time, including winning records against each team.
- In addition to Cornell, 'Cuse has faced Penn (25-1), Princeton (20-9), Yale (19-4), Dartmouth (19-4), Harvard (18-0), Brown (17-1).

INJURY WOES
- Finding a consistent lineup has been difficult for the Orange on the offensive end of the field. 'Cuse has lost dozens of games to injury from players that were expected to be major contributors this season.
- Attackman Owen Hiltz was injured in Syracuse's preseason scrimmage and has yet to play in game action this season, headlining the injury list.
- However, the SU midfield is where the injuries have most piled up. Offensive middies Lucas Quinn, Griffin Cook, Tyler Cordes, Jacob Buttermore and Brett Tenaglia (among others) have all missed at least one game this season. SSDMs Max Rosa and Dami Oladunmoye have also missed time as did LSM Landon Clary. The three defensive players have all now returned to action.

THE DORDEVIC SHOW
- Tucker Dordevic is on pace for a historic goal-scoring season at Syracuse, as the redshirt junior has already scored 5+ goals in five of the team's nine games to date, and sits at 36 goals with four regular season games to play.
- Dordevic is on pace to finish the 14 game regular season with 50 goals, which would be tied for the seventh-most goals in a season in program history with Dylan Donahue (2015), with no player having more since Tom Marechek had 53 in 1991.
- If Dordevic even gets to 40+, he'd be in rare company. Dylan Donahue (50/2015) is the last player to go north of 40 for a season. Before him, Stephen Keogh (49/2009), Mike Leveille (49/2008), Mike Powell (47/2004; 40/2002), Mike Springer (40/2001; 48/2000), Matt Cutia (44/1999), Casey Powell (44/1998; 43/1997), Rob Kavovit (42/1996), Roy Colsey (44/1994), Matt Riter (49/1993) are the only 10 players to do it since Marechek (who did so in 1992 and 1993 in addition to '91).
- Dordevic enters Monday's game ranked third nationally with 3.6 goals per game and has been named ACC Player of the Week in two of the last-three weeks.

A WIN AGAINST CORNELL WOULD...
- Improve Syracuse to 5-6 on the season and snap a two-game losing streak.
- Move 'Cuse to 4-2 at home with two games in the Dome to play this season.
- Be the program's 929th victory, second all-time behind Johns Hopkins.
