
Orange Face Colgate for Test Run Sunday

The Syracuse men's rowing team third varsity eight (3v8+) and fourth varsity eight (4v8+) will scrimmage Colgate's varsity eight boat on Sunday morning at the James A. Ten Eyck Boathouse in Liverpool, N.Y.Â
Beginning at 9 a.m., the three crews will race down the 2,000-meter course which begins on Lake Onondaga and finishes through the channel in front of Ten Eyck.Â
After the 9 a.m. race, the crews will head back out to do a 2x1000-meter race.Â
The Orange officially begin their season next weekend at the California Duals at Redwood Shores when the varsity eight and second varsity eight head west to face No. 19 Oregon State, No. 2 Washington and No. 9 Stanford. The Orange varsity eight will begin the season ranked No. 7 in the country.Â
