'Cuse Leads the Way at National Senior All-Star Game

Seven Orange signees participating, most of any school
'Cuse will be well represented in next month's National Senior All-American Game, with seven Orange signees having been selected to the 46-man game – the most of any school in the nation.
It's another beacon for Orange fans looking forward to the future of Syracuse lacrosse under head coach Gary Gait, as the Orange will also have the most representatives (9) at the Under Armour All-America Game later in July as well.
The nation's number one recruit, Joey Spallina (Mount Sanai (NY) / Team 91) and standout midfielder Luke Rhoa (St. John's (D.C.) /Crabs) were selected as captains for the Nationals squad. They subsequently selected their five future teammates to the squad so all-seven SU signees will compete for the same squad in the National All-Star Game, which takes place at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland on July 9 and streamed live on Lax Sports Network.
Besides Rhoa and Spallina, 'Cuse representatives will be midfielders Carter Kempney (Carthage, (N.Y.) / Orange Crush), Michael Leo (St. Anthony's (N.Y.) / Team 91), defensemen Riley Figueiras (St. John's (D.C.) / Annapolis Hawks) and Dylan Sageder (Mount Sinai (N.Y.) / Team 91) and goalie Jimmy McCool (New Hampton (N.H.) / 3d New England).
