6/9/2022 9:49:00 PM | Track and Field
Annie Boos' season wraps up in the NCAA Semifinals, as the ACC Bronze medalist fell shy of qualifying for Saturday's NCAA final in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
Boos crossed the line in 10:35.61 in her heat, which was taken out fast. The top-two finishers in her heat – Arkansas' Logan Jolly and Notre Dame's Olivia Markezich – each had personal-best times.
Boos hung with the lead pack for much of the race, but ultimately fell back towards the end. Her season wraps up with Honorable Mention All-America accolades.
The Orange have one remaining competitor at the NCAA Championships. Jaheem Hayles will compete in the men's 110-meter hurdles final at 9:42 p.m. ET on Friday, in a race set for ESPN2.
