
Orange Return Home Thursday at 7 PM

Syracuse (13-7, 4-5 ACC)Â returns home to the JMA Wireless Dome to host Virginia on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Fans can watch the game live on ACC Network Extra online or through the ESPN app.
The Orange hope to snap a three-game losing streak, most recently losing, 62-50, to No. 13 Duke on Sunday afternoon in Durham, N.C. Syracuse is 9-5 all-time against the Cavaliers. Last time the two met, Syracuse earned a 77-70 road victory on Feb. 8, 2022.
Alaina Rice led the Orange with 15 points against Duke on Sunday. Dyaisha Fair, Syracuse's leading scorer (19.1 ppg), had 12 points for her 20th game scoring in double figures this season. The Orange are 10-2 at home this season but have lost each of the last two to nationally ranked opponents #8 NC State (56-54) and #7 Notre Dame (72-56).
Virginia (14-6, 3-6 ACC) has won one of its last five games and is shooting 34.2 percent from the field during the 1-4 stretch. UVA is coming off a 67-54 road loss at No. 7 Notre Dame Sunday.
Following Thursday's contest, the Orange will continue their home stand against Louisville on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 12 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear orange for an Orange Out as Syracuse celebrate's National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
