How it Happened
- Deadlocked through the first 39 minutes of the game, Coleman scored on a tipped penalty corner shot from Caroline Ramsey in the 40th minute.
- A dozen minutes later, the Orange leveled the game as van de Pas carried through the midfield before backhanding a cross into the scoring area. Broderick made a play on the ball, sailing the ball over her pad. Hattie Madden was waiting, slapping home the tying marker in the 52nd minute.
- The Orange had their chances in overtime, earning two penalty corners in the first extra stanza, accruing one shot that did not find the back of the net.
- In the second overtime, Cornell had back-to-back corner chances. Neitch made a blocker save on the first and hit the splits on the second corner, kicking the ball away from the goal. Leahy corralled the loose ball and converted a shot for the deciding goal in the 71st minute.
