Syracuse (2-0) welcomes its most frequent rival in Colgate (1-0) for the 175^th meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m in the JMA Wireless Dome.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange look to extend their current two-game winning streak after defeating Canisius at home, 89-77. Sophomore guard Judah Mintz scored a personal-best 26 points in the contest, his second outing in a row with over 20 points.

The Raiders kicked off their 2023-24 season with a narrow victory versus Brown, 72-70. Three Colgate starters scored over 14 points in the affair. Sophomore guard Braeden Smith paced the offense with 17 points.

THE SYRACUSE-COLGATE SERIES
Syracuse has a 127-47 advantage against its most familiar foe. The last matchup against the Raiders was on Nov. 15, 2022, and Colgate emerged with the win, 80-68. The series on the hardwood extends back to the 1901-02 season. Colgate has taken the past two tilts, which ended Syracuse's 54-game winning streak in the series.

LAST TIME OUT
In the victory against Canisius, sophomore guard Judah Mintz scored a career-best 26 points, including 19 in the second half. Sophomore guard J.J. Starling passed out a collegiate-high seven assists, grabbed seven board and chipped in with 17 points. Junior center Naheem McLeod tied his best performance with nine rebounds and blocked five shots.

A SATISFYING START FOR COACH AUTRY
Adrian Autry '94, who was a four-year starter at Syracuse as a player before returning to the program as an assistant coach, was victorious in his first two games at the helm of his alma mater. Autry was named to succeed Hall of Fame head coach Jim Boeheim, who retired following his 47th season in charge.

SYRACUSE FANS CAN VOTE MINTZ FOR COUSY AWARD
Mintz is one of 20 watch-list candidates for the 2024 Bob Cousy Award, which is annually presented to the top point guard in Division I men's basketball. Orange followers are encouraged to participate in three rounds of Fan Voting, presented by Dell Technologies, on hoophallawards.com.

YOUNG ORANGE SQUAD
This year's Syracuse squad is tied for 16th in Division I for the youngest average age of all scholarship players at 20.40 years. Virginia Military Institute tops the list with an average age of 19.1. The Orange have the lowest average among ACC schools.
