DURHAM, N.H. – Syracuse continues its National Championship defense at eighth-seeded New Hampshire on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament Second Round at Wildcat Stadium. The match will air live on ESPN+.

'Cuse Update
Syracuse beat Boston University, 3-1, in the NCAA Tournament First Round. The Orange tallied all three goals over a 10:26 span in the first half after the Terriers scored three minutes into the match. Sophomore Nicholas Kaloukian scored twice, the fourth Syracuse player to record a brace this season. Graduate student Josh Belluz headed in the middle goal, his second of the campaign. Junior Mateo Leveque assisted on the first two scores, which came from set pieces.
Kaloukian is the fourth player in program history to tally two goals in an NCAA Tournament match. Leveque is the fifth player to assist on two scores.
The Orange outshot the Terriers, 21-11, including 12-3 in the first half.
'Cuse has 158 corner kicks this season, the most in the country. The Orange average 7.90 corners-per-game, second to Akron (8.33).
NCAA Tournament History
Syracuse (9-4-7) makes its ninth NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and eighth under head coach Ian McIntyre. The Orange are 14-5-2 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, 5-2-0 in the NCAA First Round and 4-2-1 when they are not seeded in the national tournament.
Syracuse has faced 19 different programs in the NCAA Championship prior to Sunday's contest at New Hampshire.
In 2022, the Orange won all five of their matches, including a 7-6 penalty kick shootout against Indiana, to win the program's first College Cup.
Nine members of the 2023 roster appeared in the 2022 National Championship run, including five of the 11 starters. Overall, 22 players on the 2023 roster have appeared in an NCAA Tournament match in their careers.
Scouting the Wildcats
Marc Hubbard is in his ninth season leading the New Hampshire men's soccer program, posting a 114-31-21 overall record. The Wildcats enter the NCAA Tournament with a 12-2-4 overall record, losing to Bryant, 1-0 in double overtime, in the America East Championship game.
Eli Goldman leads New Hampshire with eight goals in 2023 while Bilal Kamal is second on the team with 14 points (four goals, six assists). Georgios Koliniatis tallied his fifth goal of the campaign in the team's 1-0 victory over NJIT in the conference semifinal contest.
Joseba Incera has started 15 of the 18 matches in net for New Hampshire, posting a 0.60 goals-against average and a .780 save percentage in 1,357:15 of action.
Series History
Sunday is the second meeting between Syracuse and New Hampshire. The teams played to a 2-2 double overtime draw on Sept. 8, 2019, at the SU Soccer Stadium. Simon Triantafillou and Ryan Raposo scored for the Orange. Raposo assisted on Triantafillou's marker in the fourth minute before finding the back of the net at 28:30 in the first half.
Graduate student Noah Singelmann is the lone member of the 2019 roster to face the Wildcats, appearing in 100 minutes in the draw.

The winner of Sunday's match advances to the NCAA Third Round game, where it will face the winner of Clemson/Charlotte contest. The match will take place on either Saturday, Nov. 25, or Sunday, Nov. 26.
