Orange Host #3 Pitt For Season Finale

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University volleyball team is set to host #3 Pitt on Friday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. for the final match of the regular season. The bout will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra and have live stats available.

The Orange meet a familiar foe in the Panthers, this weekend's match will be the 57^th time the two face off. Earlier this season, then ranked #9 Pitt took the matchup against Syracuse in straight sets. The last win for 'Cuse was on Sept. 26, 2020, where the Orange won the affair with a sweep. Pitt sits atop the ACC standing with a 15-2 conference record and 24-4 record in all competitions.

Last time out, the Orange played matches against Boston College and #9 Georgia Tech. In the contest against the Eagles, freshman setter Veronica Sierzant achieved a career-high 16 kills playing as an outside hitter. Sophomore defensive specialist Melina Brooking contributed a collegiate-best three total blocks in the matchup against Georgia Tech.
