• The Orange will try to become bowl eligible for the second-straight year. It would be the first time Syracuse has gone to a bowl game in back-to-back seasons since 2012 and 2013.

THANK YOU SENIORS
• Syracuse will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday and those playing in their final home game will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
• Syracuse has the second-fewest players exhausting their eligibility in the FBS this season on its roster.
ALLEN ON THE CUSP OF 1K
• RB LeQuint Allen Jr. is averaging 121.7 rushing yards in his last three games.
• He recorded 120 yards on the ground against Georgia Tech for his third-straight 100+ yard rushing performance. He has surpassed 100 yards rushing in a game six times in 2023 and seven times in his career.
• With his performance against the Yellow Jackets, Allen Jr. increased his season rushing total to 918. That total ranks third in the ACC.
• Allen Jr. needs 82 more yards to post the 19th 1,000 yard rushing season in program history. It would be the third-straight season 'Cuse has a back reach the 1,000 yard mark after Sean Tucker did so in 2021 and 2022. It'd be the fourth time in program history that Syracuse has seen a player reach 1,000 yards in three-straight seasons.
S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y IN THE DOME
• Syracuse is playing its first Saturday home game since hosting Clemson on September 30.
• The 56 days between Saturday home games trails only New Mexico State's 63 day stretch without a Saturday home game for the longest such streak in the FBS.
• Since hosting the Tigers at the end of September, the Orange have played four road games and one neutral site game at Yankee Stadium. The lone home game contest in that stretch was a Friday night meeting against Boston College.
• Syracuse is 3-2 in the JMA Dome this season.
SERIES HISTORY
• Saturday's game will be the 13th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Wake Forest. Three of the previous 12 contests between the schools have been decided in overtime, including two of the last four.
• The all-time series is tied at 6-6. Syracuse hosted Wake Forest for three-straight years from 2019-21 before visiting Winston-Salem last season.
• The Orange and Demon Deacons have played every year since Syracuse joined the ACC in 2013.
ROTATING CAST
• The Orange have seen 35 different players start at least one game this season, in many cases due to injuries.
• That total is down two from last year, where the injury bug also hit hard, but primarily on the defense. Through 11 games last season, 37 different players had recorded at least one start. 'Cuse finished the regular season with 39 different players starting a game in 2022.
A WIN WOULD …Â
• Make Syracuse bowl eligibile for the second-straight year.
• Send Syracuse to back-to-back bowl games for the first time as a member of the ACC. The last time 'Cuse reached back-to-back bowls was the 2012-13 seasons, which were split between their final season in the BIG EAST and first in the ACC.
• Give Syracuse its 754th all-time victory (includes 11 wins from 2004-06 that were vacated by the NCAA). The Orange currently rank 21st on the FBS ledger of winningest programs. Syracuse is one of 34 FBS schools to have accumulated 700+ wins.
