Syracuse hosts Alabama (7-1) in the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge presented by Dixie Ultra on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the JMA Wireless Dome. It marks the first home game for the Orange since Nov. 15 who return from a three-game swing with a 5-1 record and riding a two-game win streak.
Fans can watch the game nationally on ACC Network or through the ESPN app with Christy Thomaskutty and Eric Frede on the call. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
The Orange return to the Loud House after a successful South Point Shootout in Las Vegas, Nev. The Orange went 2-0 over Thanksgiving weekend, notching victories over Northern Iowa, 71-54, and Iowa State, 81-69. Georgia Woolley tallied her first double-double of the season against Northern Iowa with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Syracuse's two fifth-year guards, Dyaisha Fair and Alaina Rice, combined for 55 points against Iowa State and were both named to the All-Tournament Team while Rice earned Most Outstanding Player honors.
Alabama comes to Syracuse 7-1 overall after going 2-1 at the Betty Chancellor Classic in Katy, Texas, last week. The Crimson Tide last picked up a win against Liberty, 72-47, in the final game of the tournament.
