
Orange Travel to Pitt for Regular Season Finale

Syracuse (17-11, 8-9 ACC) travels to Pittsburgh (10-17, 3-13 ACC) for the final regular season road game on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. on ACCNX from Petersen Events Center.

The Orange look to build off an exciting 77-68 win over Miami on Sunday. Five players recorded scored in double figures for the Orange, who were led by Dyaisha Fair and Georgia Woolley who each scored 14 points. Kennedi Perkins contributed 13 points, a career-high for the freshman guard, Alaina Rice tallied 11, and Asia Strong finished with 10.

The Panthers are coming off a 40-point loss to #10 Notre Dame, 83-43. Amber Brown led all-scorers with 13 points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist. Destiny Strother earned eight points while Maliyah Johnson scored six points.

This will be the second time this season that the Panthers and Orange will be meeting. Syracuse defeated Pittsburg on Jan.5, 89-71, at the JMA Wireless Dome. Fair scored 22 of her 24 points in the second half, and Dariauna Lewis added 12 points and 8 rebounds to clinch the win. The Orange leads the series 50-16 overall with a current win streak of 23.

Thursday's matchup will close out the regular season for Syracuse while the remainder of the ACC plays one final round of games on Sunday. The ACC Tournament, scheduled for March 1-5 at the Greensboro Coliseum, bracket and seedings will be announced at the conclusion of Sunday's slate of games.Â
