Syracuse University's men's lacrosse team will be back in the JMA Wireless Dome this Saturday to kickoff its ACC schedule. The No. 18 Orange will face the No. 16 North Carolina Tar Heels Saturday at 3 p.m. on ACC Network.

For the first time this season, Syracuse men's lacrosse will have a game televised. Fans who cannot make it to the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday will be able to watch the Orange take on the Tar Heels on ACC Network starting at 3 p.m. Joe Beninati and Paul Carcaterra '97 will be calling the first of five televised games for the Orange.Â
Last Time vs. North Carolina
Syracuse leads the overall series against North Carolina 18-11. The last time the Orange faced the Tar Heels was in Chapel Hill on April 16, 2022. SU struggled during the start of the game, but tallied five goals in the fourth quarter to take a late lead. The Tar Heels scored two goals during the last minute for a final score of 14-13.
Mark's Season Highs
Goalie Will Mark notched a season high 18 saves during last weekend's game against No. 4 Maryland. This was the third time in four games Mark made double digit saves for the Orange. Mark also faced a season high 50 shots from the Terrapins.
Entering ACC Play
Saturday will be the first of six games against an ACC opponent for the Orange. Syracuse will face the Tar Heels again on April 15 at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland. Syracuse will also face off against Notre Dame, Virginia, and will play two games against Duke. Syracuse is scheduled to play the Blue Devils on March 5 in the JMA Wireless Dome and will finish the regular season at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, North Carolina on April 29.
Promotions
Saturday is both Otto's Kids Club Day and Youth Lacrosse Day in the JMA Wireless Dome. There will be different lawn games for families and the first 200 fans in attendance will receive a Fanny Pack.
