THE GAME
- Back to the friendly confines of the Dome on Tuesday to open the final three-game homestand of the season as the Orange begin a new series, this time taking on St. Bonaventure for the first time ever.
- Syracuse will play its seventh home game of the season, which also marks the 500th collegiate game 'Cuse head coach Gary Gait has been involved in, from student-athlete to assistant coach to a head coach of two teams.
- ACC Network Extra will carry the game live on Tuesday with Will Hentschel and Jack Gordon on the call.
- Tim Leonard '20 (PxP) and Kyle Fetterly '09 (analyst) will broadcast the action on TK99/105, Cuse.com, The Varsity App and the TuneIn App, while WAER will also carry the game.

THE ST. BONAVENTURE SERIES
- Tuesday marks the first time Syracuse and St. Bonaventure clash on the men's lacrosse field.
- The Bonnies are in their fifth season as a varsity program.
- Syracuse and St. Bonaventure, located just over the New York/Pennsylvania state line north of Bradford, Pennsylvania, are separated by roughly 180 miles.
- The mid-week clash will be the first meeting between Syracuse head coach Gary Gait and St. Bonaventure head coach Randy Mearns, who previously served as the head coach at Canisius. Mearns coached against the Orange twice, both Orange wins in 2008 an 2013 in the Dome.

VERSUS THE ATLANTIC 10
- Like many things about Tuesday's game, this will be the first time Syracuse faces an Atlantic 10 team, which began sponsoring men's lacrosse this spring.
- The Orange have played teams currently aligned with the Atlantic 10, marking the 144th time Syracuse will meet one of the current A10 members.
- The Orange are 79-26-2 all-time against Hobart, now in the Atlantic 10, and 28-8 against UMass, which transitioned from the CAA for men's lacrosse, to its full-time league.

THORPE NAMED US BOX HEAD MAN
- Former Syracuse men's lacrosse player Regy Thorpe has again been announced as the head coach for the USA Lacrosse men's box program.
- Thorpe, currently a women's lacrosse assistant coach at the University of Florida, will coach the men's box team at next year's championships, at a site and date to be announced.
- A former member of the USA Lacrosse box program, Thorpe led the US to a bronze medal finish in 2019 as the head coach, the fifth-straight bronze for the American side.
- Thorpe spent 15 years playing for the Rochester Knighthawks, winning the NLL title in 1997 and 2007.
- An All-American at Syracuse, Thorpe helped the Orange to the title game in 1992, and enjoyed a successful MLL career as well.

BROOKS NAMED ATLAS LC ASSISTANT
- Another former men's lacrosse player at Syracuse, Steven Brooks, has been named as an assistant coach for Atlas LC of the Premier Lacrosse League.
- Brooks most recently served Atlas LC as the interim head coach for the PLL Championship Series, a sixes-style event. He led the team to the Series championship game.
- A two-time NCAA Champion, Brooks enjoyed a successful professional career with various MLL, LXM, and PLL teams before retiring in 2019.
- The first former PLL player to join the league's coaching ranks, Brooks has been with the Atlas in a coaching capacity since 2020.
