Orange Set For Home Finale

Nationally ranked Syracuse tennis (11-3, 4-3) looks to rebound from back-to-back losses with a two-match home stand this weekend. The Orange face No. 10 Duke (16-2 5-1 ACC) on Friday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a clash with No.1 North Carolina (20-0, 6-0 ACC) on Sunday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m., both at Drumlins Country Club.

The 'Cuse have never earned victories against the Blue Devils or Cornell. Duke leads the all-time series 10-0 and North Carolina has captured all 12 meetings.

In its two matches this past weekend, the Orange fell by a final score of 6-1 against both Clemson and Georgia Tech. Syracuse's lone points came from capturing the doubles point against the Yellow Jackets and an Ines Fonte, 7-5, 6-4, victory in the No. 6 singles flight against the Tigers.

At the conclusion of this weekends' matches, Syracuse hits the road for its last four matches. The 'Cuse rounds out its regular season slate at NC State (March 31), Wake Forest (April 2), Notre Dame (April 14) and Louisville (April 16).
