No. 29 Syracuse lost to No. 10 Duke, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y. The Orange will face No. 1 North Carolina on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the home finale.

Viktoriya Kanapatskaya / Shiori Ito bested Karolina Berankova / Ellie Coleman, 6-2, in the second doubles flight. However, the Blue Devils (17-2, 6-1 ACC) captured the doubles point with victories in the first and third matches.

Polina Kozyreva won the long singles flight for the 'Cuse (11-4, 4-4 ACC). In the fourth flight, she defeated Iuliia Bryzgalova (Duke), 7-5, 5-7, 10-2. Duke secured the triumph by capturing the remaining five singles matches.

The 'Cuse will return to Drumlins on Sunday morning for its home finale. First serve against North Carolina is slated for 10:30 a.m. and the match will stream live on ACC Network Extra.
