SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse is once again ranked No. 1 in the ILWomen/IWLCA rankings released on Monday, April 3. It marks the third consecutive week that the Orange have held the top spot in the poll, which is their longest stretch at No. 1 in program history.

The Orange (13-0) earned every first-place vote for the second straight week, which was good for 600 points. Northwestern remained at No. 2 with 576 points, while Denver (547 pts.) and James Madison (513 pts.) each moved up one spot to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. North Carolina (505 pts.) rounds out the top five.

The ACC features four teams in this week's top 10. In addition to Syracuse and North Carolina, Boston College is No. 7, while Notre Dame is No. 8. The Orange will take No. 19 Clemson this Saturday before closing out the regular season with games against the Tar Heels and Eagles.

Syracuse takes on Clemson for the first time at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Admission to the game is free.
