Orange Place 13 On All-ACC Academic Softball List

Syracuse had 13 student-athletes earn a spot on the All-ACC Academic Softball Team announced by the league on Tuesday.
The Orange were represented by Laila Alves, Kelly Breen, Rebecca Clyde, Katherine Dorazio, Yamilla Evans, Tessa Galipeau, Lindsey Hendrix, Angel Jasso, Madison Knight, Gabrielle Lantier, Taylor Posner, Angela Ramos, and Ryan Starr.
Syracuse was one of nine ACC programs to have at least 13 student-athletes honored. Louisville led the way with 16.
Student-athletes with a 3.0 grade-point-average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative grade-point-average qualify for the recognition. Nominees must also have competed in 50 percent of the squad's contests. The threshold is 20 percent for pitchers.
