BALTIMORE – Hall of Fame inductions and historic Homewood Field adorned the week seven slate for the Premier Lacrosse League as two former Orange were enshrined in the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame in Baltimore this weekend.
Roy Colsey and Ryan Powell, both Major League Lacrosse (MLL) stars, were formally inducted to the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame over the weekend, joining fellow 'Cuse stars Casey Powell, Gary Gait, and Pat McCabe.
Joining the latest two Syracuse players in the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame were Ryan Boyle, Greg Cattrano, Jesse Hubbard, and Brian Spallina.
Atlas LC Lost 14-13 to Archers LC in Overtime
Brendan Curry picked up two points in the Atlas loss, dishing out two assists and grabbing one ground ball. Curry's first helper came early in the second quarter, sparking a 5-2 frame for Atlas. Curry's second assist came three minutes later as Atlas pulled back within one of the Archers.
Drake Porter was named to the Atlas dress roster for week seven, but did not see the field.
Atlas assistant coach Steven Brooks helped guide the team out of a 4-2 first-quarter deficit for an even game the rest of the way until overtime.
Whipsnakes LC Won 12-5 Over Chrome LC
Brett Kennedy was listed as a reserve defenseman on the Whipsnakes game day roster but did not see the field.
Tucker Dordevic produced one ground ball for the Whipsnakes in the overwhelming win against Chrome.
Redwoods LC Lost 14-12 to Chaos LC
Cole Kirst led the scoring efforts for Redwoods, tagging Chaos for four one-point goals on 10 total shots. He was tied with Rob Pannell for the team points lead. Kirst scored twice in a shutout, 5-0 first quarter for Redwoods before scoring his next two goals in a five-goal Redwoods outburst in the third quarter.

The PLL heads west for a weekend at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on the campus of University of Denver. Chaos and Whipsnakes lead off on Friday at 8 p.m. EST followed by Chrome and Archers at 10:30 p.m. EST. Atlas meet the Waterdogs Saturday night at 7 p.m. EST with Cannons and Redwoods rounding out the weekend at 9:30 p.m. EST.
