Syracuse Storms Back from 18-Point Deficit to Beat #15 Florida State

Syracuse improved to a perfect 11-0 record inside the JMA Wireless Dome this season, as the Orange came back to defeat Florida State, 79-73, Thursday night. The 18-point deficit overcome by 'Cuse is the second-largest of the season, behind Sunday's 19-point comeback victory over Clemson. Syracuse extends their home win streak to 15 games.

All eight players that checked in for the Orange put points on the board, led by fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair. She led the Orange with 31 points, on the back of nine made baskets from behind the arc. Her nine threes marks a program record for the most by a single player in a game.

Syracuse had three players with over five rebounds in the contest. Junior forward Kyra Wood grabbed nine boards, followed by freshman forward Alyssa Latham with seven and freshman guard Sophie Burrows with five.

The Orange shot 10-for-21 (.476) from beyond the arc.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Florida State entered the fourth quarter with an eight-point advantage, leading 62-54 over the Orange. Two second-chance buckets and a layup from junior forward Saniaa Wilson put 'Cuse within two early in the fourth. With 3:35 left in the game, Syracuse took the lead thanks to a trey from Fair. The Orange never looked back, closing out the game on a 12-4 run to secure the victory.
