Syracuse (14-6, 5-4 ACC) hits the road for the first time in two weeks for a rematch against Boston College (12-8, 3-6) in the Conte Forum on Tuesday, January 27 at 7 p.m.

SETTING THE STAGE
The Orange have won three of their last four contests. Syracuse has held opponents to an average of 6.7 3-pointers per game over the four-game span.

The Eagles have won three of eight games in January, twice against Notre Dame and once at Georgia Tech.

THE SYRACUSE-BOSTON COLLEGE SERIES
Syracuse faced Boston College at the beginning of January and stood victorious, 69-59. The Eagles are the Orange's eighth most familiar foe and second most common opponent in the ACC. Tuesday will mark the 85^th meeting between the two programs. Syracuse has a 58-26 advantage in the series. The Orange have taken the last 11 matchups. Boston College last claimed victory against Syracuse with an 85-70 win on Feb. 28, 2018.

LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore backcourt duo J.J. Starling (26 points) and Judah Mintz (20) combined for 46 of the squad's 77 points in a 77-65 win against NC State. Mintz shot 14-of-18 from the foul line, which marked career-bests in free throw makes and attempts. Sophomore center Maliq Brown grabbed a team-best seven rebounds. He has at least seven boards in eight of the last nine outings. Sophomore forwards Chris Bell (13 points) and Benny Williams (11) produced double-figure scoring efforts.

ORANGE LEADERS
Mintz leads the Orange offense with 18.5 points per game, ranking third in the ACC. He has scored 20-or-more points in half of Syracuse's contests this season. His backcourt partner, Starling, has averaged 18.8 points over the last four outings. Brown tops the team in rebound average with 6.6. Over the last nine games, Brown has averaged 8.4 boards.

Syracuse ranks second in the ACC in turnovers forced per game (14.6) and steals per game (9.0). Mintz and Brown are significant contributors to the squad's high steal rate. Mintz ranks second and Brown ranks third in the ACC in steals per affair, averaging 2.15 and 2.05, respectively.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Graduate center Quinten Post ranks ninth in the ACC in scoring average and leads the Eagles' team with 16.6 points per game. Post is also atop the squad in rebounds with 7.4 per game. Boston College has three other starters averaging double-figure scoring: junior guards Claudell Harris Jr. (14.1 ppg.) and Jaeden Zackery (11.5), and sophomore forward Devin McGlockton (10.6).

SYRACUSE FANS CAN VOTE MINTZ FOR COUSY AWARD
Mintz is one of 20 watch-list candidates for the 2024 Bob Cousy Award, which is annually presented to the top point guard in Division I men's basketball. Orange followers are encouraged to participate in three rounds of Fan Voting, presented by Dell Technologies, on hoophallawards.com.

Mintz is also on the watch list for the Naismith Trophy. The list is comprised of 50 student-athletes and will be narrowed throughout the year. The winner of the award will be announced later in the season.
