#25 Orange Host Boston College Sunday at 6 PM

For the first time in the Felisha Legette-Jack Era, the Syracuse women's basketball team will play in front of its home crowd as a nationally-ranked team on Sunday. The #25 Orange host Boston College (9-6, 1-1 ACC) at 6 p.m. at the JMA Wireless Dome. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.Â
The Orange (11-2, 1-1 ACC) had their eight game win streak broken on Thursday night with a road loss at North Carolina. The Tar Heels defeated SU, 75-51, handing the Orange their first ACC loss of the season. Dyaisha Fair led the team with 17 points while freshman forward Alyssa Latham had her third straight and team-best sixth double double of the season.Â
'Cuse entered the Associated Press Top-25 at No.25 on Monday and was named the Team of the Week by ESPN, the NCAA and the USBWA.Â
Syracuse is 8-0 at home this season and has won 12 straight games at the JMA Wireless Dome dating back to the last time the Orange and Eagles met on Feb. 5, 2023, when SU won, 79-72). The Orange have the advantage in the all-time series 37-26 and have won each of the last two games.Â
Boston College is coming off a 70-64 home win over Miami on Thursday night. The Eagles dropped their ACC opener at Duke by five, 80-75, on Dec. 31.Â
