Syracuse (6-6-1, 0-5-0) faces off against a fourth straight top-20 opponent for the first time in program history when it hosts #17 Notre Dame (7-1-2, 1-0-2) on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium.

Notre Dame has dominated the all-time series against Syracuse, with the Irish boasting an impressive 17-0-1 record. The Orange's 17 losses to Notre Dame is the second-most in program history, behind Connecticut (21). The last time the two sides met, the Irish secured a 4-0 home victory in 2021.
Syracuse Status
The Orange fell to #5 Wake Forest, 3-0, last Sunday. The Demon Deacons got out in front early following a goal just two minutes into the contest.
Shea Vanderbosch enters the Notre Dame matchup with a league-leading 58 saves. She has posted a .773 save percentage and 1.62 goals-against-average in nine starts.
Ashley Rauch tops the squad with four goals and nine points, including two game-winning goals. Ava Uribe leads the Orange in assists with four on the campaign.Â

Notre Dame is coming off a 1-1 stalemate against NC State on Sunday and are 7-1-2 on the year.
Midfielder/forward Izzy Engle leads the team with 10 goals and 21 points though 10 matches. She is second in the ACC in goals and first in the nation among freshman. Atlee Olofson started the past game in net for the Irish, and holds a league-best .929 save percentage and .200 goals-against-average.
Pink Out (Breast Cancer Awareness)
The Orange will be wearing new kits with pink numbers and Syracuse script in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
There will be a pink t-shirt giveaway prior to the contest.
