Allen and Diggs Claim ACC Weekly Honors

Running back LeQuint Allen and defensive end Fadil Diggs were named ACC Players of the Week for their performances in the win over No. 25 UNLV in Las Vegas on Friday night.
Allen found the end zone four times, two rushing and two receiving, and came up with a pair of huge runs to deliver the Orange to victory. Allen broke a backfield tackle on a fourth down run on the game-tying drive and notched his fourth score to deliver the game-winning touchdown in overtime. He finished the day with 71 rushing yards and nine catches for 58 yards.
Diggs had a pair of sacks in the Orange win, none bigger than on third down in overtime to force a UNLV field goal. He was also second on the team with six tackles.
The Orange are back in action on Saturday at NC State.
