
Orange Wrap Up Regular Season at Cornell

The Syracuse track and field teams wrapped up the regular season on Saturday at the Marc Deneault Invitational, finishing with two event wins and adding five more personal-best times to their resume.
James Nmah won the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 6.90 seconds, followed by Daijon Richards (6.95 seconds) in fourth.
Emanuel Joseph was the other event winner on the day, setting a new PR in the process. He won the men's 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.04 seconds. David Peters (8.17 seconds) and Xayvion Perkins (8.37 seconds) were third and fourth, respectively.
Peyton Rollins and CJ Fox both set career best times in the women's 60-meter hurdles. Rollins (8.67 seconds) was fourth overall, followed by Fox (8.89 seconds) in fifth.
Kaleia Arrington was runner-up in the women's 60-meter dash with a time of 7.77 seconds, while Morgan Marshall was fifth (7.92 seconds). Olivia Garner was the top finisher in the prelims with a time of 7.70 seconds, but did not run in the finals.
Gabriel Planty was second in the men's mile with a time of 4:16.62 seconds, followed by Alex Herbst in seventh (4:23.66). Patrick Malone (4:29.16) and Ryder Kriley (4:29.93) both set PRs in the event as well.
Arrington was also runner-up in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.58 seconds.
Shayla Ford took fourth in the 400-meter dash in 1:00.26.
Tess Fitzmaurice finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run, crossing the line in 10:36.16.
Lizzie Bigelow was the top Orange woman in the mile, placing ninth in 5:20.95, followed five spots later by Olivia Shattuck (5:24.91), and Lucy Zombek with a personal-best time of  5:35.26 in 21st and Kayla Harding (6:16.96).
'Cuse will compete in the ACC Championships next week, which begin on Thursday.
