THE GAME
- Another relatively quick turnaround for the Orange as No. 8/No. 6 Syracuse hosts Utah for the first-ever meeting between the programs for a Wednesday afternoon matinee.
- Joe Puccio and Adam Gotkin will have the call Wednesday afternoon for ACC Network Extra at the JMA Wireless Dome. Tim Leonard (pxp) and Kyle Fetterly (analyst) have the radio call on TK99/105, Cuse.com, The Varsity App, and TuneIn App, as will WAER.
- Saturday's game is the fifth of the young season as the Orange roll in with a 3-1 record against Utah's 0-2 record.

THE UTAH SERIES
- Wednesday afternoon will be the first-ever meeting between Syracuse and the Utes of Utah on the lacrosse field.
- Utah began its first season of varsity-level men's lacrosse in 2019, officially kicking off Division I college lacrosse in the Beehive State with a 21-6 setback against Vermont.
- The matinee will be just the third time Syracuse plays a school west of the Mississippi River, holding a clean 6-0 record against both Air Force (2-0) and Denver (4-0).
- Wednesday will be the first time a University of Utah team plays against one of Syracuse's five teams that call the Dome home (men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, football, men's basketball, women's basketball).
- As of Tuesday, men's basketball is the only one of the five Dome sports that has previously played Utah, a 74-57 win over the Utes in Peoria, Illinois during the 1951 National Campus Tournament.

TEN BELOW
- Syracuse has won 75-straight games when holding opponents to under 10 goals in a game.
- 55 of those 75 games have come since the start of the 2015 season, including a high of 11 in 2016.
- The last time Syracuse failed to win when keeping its foe to single digits was on April 28, 2012, when the Orange fell at Notre Dame, 8-6.
- Syracuse is 2-0 this season while allowing fewer than 10 goals, topping Vermont 20-7 in the opener and Manhattan 16-3 in the second game of the year.
- The Orange went 6-0 in 2023 when holding opponents to fewer than 10 goals.
