#23 Orange Host Georgia Tech for Pink Out Thursday

The No. 23-ranked Syracuse women's basketball team (18-4, 8-3 ACC) returns home Thursday night to take on Georgia Tech (14-9, 5-6 ACC) inside the JMA Wireless Dome. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), which fans can stream online or through the ESPN app.
Fans attending Thursday's game are encouraged to wear pink for the annual Pink Out and join the Orange in the fight against breast cancer.
'Cuse returns to the Loud House after a two-game road trip that saw the Orange go 1-1. Syracuse ended the trip on a high note defeating Boston College 75-63 to snap the first losing streak of the season. Last week, fifth-year guard Dyaisha Fair moved to sixth all-time on the NCAA Division I women's basketball career scoring list thanks to her 28-point performance against #16 Louisville last Thursday. She added to her total with a season-high 38 points against Boston College to accumulate 3,167 career points.
Georgia Tech enters Thursday's matchup on the heels of a 58-55 road win at Wake Forest last Sunday. The Yellow Jackets leading scorer Tonie Morgan posted 22 points in the victory, backed by an 18-point performance from forward Kayla Blackshear. Georgia Tech is 4-4 on the road this season.
The Orange and Yellow Jackets last faced off on January 19, 2023, when Georgia Tech earned a 69-57 home win. The Yellow Jackets lead the all-time series 6-5 and have won each of the last five meetings. Last time Syracuse defeated GT, Tiana Mangakahia scored the second-most points in Carrier Dome history (44) on Jan. 4, 2018.
