Orange Showcase Skills for NFL Scouts

Scouts from nearly all of the NFL's franchises were on hand at the Ensley Athletic Center for the Syracuse football team's annual Pro Day, presented by Connors and Ferris.
Seven former Orange players participated on Monday, including 2023 team captains Garrett Shrader and Isaiah Johnson. Caleb Okechukwu, Jason Simmons Jr., D'Marcus Adams, Chris Bleich and Yosuke Sugano made up the list, which also included some participants from smaller colleges in the region.

Shrader – recovering from offseason surgery did not participate in any drills beyond getting measurements and meeting with teams. Okechukwu suffered a hamstring injury in the 40-yard dash and was also unable to participate.

Johnson, fresh off his NFL Combine invitation, improved his 40-yard dash time on Friday, but did not jump after already posting some of the top-marks among DBs in Indianapolis last month.
