Orange Return Home for Buffalo Outing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women's tennis team (7-4) is set to play their final nonconference match of the season at Drumlins Country Club. The Orange will face Buffalo (13-3) on Thursday, March 7 at 3 p.m.

Thursday will mark the 12th all-time meeting between Syracuse and Buffalo, with 'Cuse leading the series, 9-2. In their most recent matchup on Feb. 13, 2023, the Orange swept the Bulls 7-0.

Buffalo's last contest on March 2 against Cornell resulted in a 5-2 loss. The duo of Ambre Amat and Esmee Andresen earned the doubles point, winning 6-1 in the number one spot. Deanne Choo and Jagmeet Kaur claimed a win together in the number three spot. Amat gave the Bulls their sole singles win of the day.

The Orange continued ACC play last weekend as they traveled to No. 18 Duke and No. 4 North Carolina. Anastasia Sysoeva picked up a singles win against Duke. Miyuka Kimoto contested North Carolina's Carson Tanguiling in a very tight matchup.

Following Thursday's match, the Orange will resume conference play as they host #10 NC State on Friday, March 15, and Wake Forest on Sunday, Mar 17.
