'Cuse ACCT Quarterfinal Match Is Set

CHARLOTTE -- Syracuse is the No. 1 seed at this week's ACC Tournament and will take on No. 9 seed Louisville in the first quarterfinal on Wednesday, April 24 at 11 a.m. at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte.The Cardinals advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating No. 8 seed Virginia Tech, 13-11, in the first round on Sunday.
Wednesday's game marks the second meeting between Syracuse and Louisville this season. The Orange defeated the Cardinals, 22-12, on March 30 at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal will play in Friday's first semifinal at 5 p.m. against the winner of the Virginia - North Carolina quarterfinal. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at noon. All games will be televised on ACC Network.
